We are Castlefield Events, a professional events company which promotes and supports small artisan producers and artists to help them create amazing things.
We believe in people and that everyone deserves the chance to succeed.
Our markets are possible due to our stallholders – very talented and creative people who source, make and produce everything they sell themselves. We also have some specialist importers who source, promote and support artisan producers from other places around the world.
We supply coffees roasted by local artisan coffee roasters. Morning pastries, breakfast and lunch specials, Paninis, fresh cream cakes and tray bakes. All freshly baked that morning. Loose leaf teas blended to Farrars own blends are also on offer. Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Radcliffe Market Hall.
Our regular artisan market takes place every 1st Saturday of the month, in the beautiful Royal Mills, Redhill Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6JG
Let’s start with the thing that topped it all off- the atmosphere. It was just glorious. Even the early morning buzz was great…stallholders setting up, seeing old and new faces, the smell of coffee roasting at our neighbours Ancoats Coffee Company The loveliness continued for the rest of the day.
Our trendy resident DJ, Markatron was on from 10am to add to the vibe, and punters began arriving. With a great selection of stalls, fabulous food traders (their grub was pretty amazing too), and a unique array of drinks at the bar, it’s definitely an event you’d want put aside a leisurely afternoon for- lots to see, drink & eat.
The re-launch was a big day for Castlefield Market, and we couldn’t have asked for a better response. So pleased everyone enjoyed the new venue, and huge shout out to everyone who helped bring it all together.
We can’t wait for the next one… Saturday 7th May (first Saturday of every month)- in the heart of Manchester. Royal Mills, Redhill Street, Manchester 10am-4pm.
Hope to see you then!
We’re SO excited to announce that we’re back!! And better than ever, with our amazing new venue: Royal Mills, Manchester!! The re-launch date is Saturday 2nd April, open to the public from 10am.
If you’re a Castlefield Market’er, you’ll be familiar with many of our fabulous stallholders, and if it’s your first time visiting, put aside a whole day for this one.
